Ellie's Christmas

Putting Baby's new bathtub on her head. She LOVES this toy. It's a baby bed and bathtub in one!
Unwrapping her first Christmas present of the year. She refused to open any more after this. We actually had to take her present away from her and HIDE it so she would open her other gifts.
See the pile to the right of her...yeah, that remained untouched for another 20 minutes. Matt finally hid the toy in the garage for awhile.
Bingo Cat present. :)
Ellie tryingto squeeze herself under the tree to be close to her Bingo Cat. Within 2 minutes of getting the tree up, both cats set up camp under it. They love hiding under the tree. We've never had them climb it, but then again, our cats each weigh at least 15 lbs...I'm guessing they're just too lazy to attempt. :)

Christmas card attempt. :)

"Show Mommy your pretty smile"
"Dora's hair looks great. Let's take a picture now"
"I hate pictures!"
There's my beautiful baby girl.

We had a great Christmas season. We were really sad to have had to miss so many Christmas parties, but know that everyone was safe instead of out on the crumy roads.

too much fun...

Ellie is a party animal at night. Matt and I decided to try letting Ellie girl skip her afternoon nap to see if that would help her feel tired at night and go to bed before 11pm. I went upstairs to put a load of laundry in the dryer and came back down to Doots fast asleep on the couch. So much for skipping a nap...
She looked so peaceful and pretty that I couldn't bring myself to waking her up right away. I let her snooze for about 20 minutes before waking her up. By the way, this plan did not work as Ellie was still up until 11, she was just more crabby than usual. Guess I passed my night owl gene onto Doots, much to her Daddy's dismay. Now I have someone to play with! :)
Ellie loves to read books, and she was reading her book to Zoe.
Matt won this Zoe doll at the State Fair about 4 years ago, and Ellie just loves it! It's almost as big as she is. The other day, Matt and Ellie came to my work to bring me lunch (awesome, I know) and Ellie had to bring Zoe with. It was pretty cute!
Walter the Farting Dog. He could live at our house, no problem. :)

SNOW!!!!!!!!

Ellie was so excited to get snow that stayed for awhile. She begged to bring some into the house, so I scooped some into a bowl for her to play with in the kitchen. She was pretty interested for quite awhile, and was really sad when the snow turned into water.

Ellie showing her best smile. She hates having her picture taken and I had asked her to show me her teeth.

November in a nutshell. :)

Hey-o

oh......that warning on the bag is for me?
these shoes feel a little big...but don't worry, I got my cart of snacks ready!
Since Mommy couldn't wear her shoes, Ellie decided she would.

Halloween

Daddy carved Ellie girl a Dora pumpkin!
Crabby Kitty

MEOW!

We went to a Halloween Party with Gabe, Piper, and Kennedy. It was pretty fun!

Kennedy, Piper, and Gabe (Ellie's bestest buddy)
Gettin' ready to do some carvin...

You want me to put my hands in there....

Whew!

We had a little mishap with our camera battery charger, but it's all good now. We misplaced it waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back in September, right after Ellie's birthday. We've been frantically looking for it everywhere, including dumping the toy box out. We searched every nook and cranny in our house to no avail. We called all of our friends and family asking if they had seen it. Nope. We had actually given up and started using Matt's parents' camera, which they graciously let us borrow. We didn't have a cord to download the pictures though, so that meant no uploading onto blogspot. And then......Christmas came. We went to my dad's house (who we asked for our charger) and voila! Out came the missing charger. My dad had no idea what it was. So, now things are good again and the blogging can continue. We have a lot to update on so...

Addio's party!

Ellie after getting her beloved "Bubby" away from Oliva.
Kristin's bully taking away my poor baby's bubby. (OK, so Olivia isn't really a bully, but it just looks so funny!)
See how sneaky Olivia is....:) She is s.l.o.w.l.y grabbing at the blankie in question. Ellie is competely unaware that her friend is about to snatch it away. All ended well because Olivia is a good sport. No tears were even shed, just a small freak out session by Ellie because someone else had her Bubby.
This is how Ellie spent most of her time at Addison's birthday party. On the floor. In the middle of the walkway. Sprawled out.
Addio had her party at the House of Bounce. Ellie was really tired and really wasn't in the bouncin' mood to say the least. This is one of her attempts to crawl over the wall of the bouncer.
Miss O trying to figure out what to do next....
Here is Ellie on the way to Rochester for Addison's 3rd birthday party. She got up at 11 that day. The day before was her party and she was POOPED!
Goin' to a Party!

We had so much fun at Addison's birthday party. We had cake, ice cream, and hi-c. The girls also got cute little princess crowns, which Ellie wears around her waist. :) Ellie did eventually go down a few of the slides, but most of her time was spent laying on the floor watching everyone else. Thats my girl. :)
