Ellie is a party animal at night. Matt and I decided to try letting Ellie girl skip her afternoon nap to see if that would help her feel tired at night and go to bed before 11pm. I went upstairs to put a load of laundry in the dryer and came back down to Doots fast asleep on the couch. So much for skipping a nap...
She looked so peaceful and pretty that I couldn't bring myself to waking her up right away. I let her snooze for about 20 minutes before waking her up. By the way, this plan did not work as Ellie was still up until 11, she was just more crabby than usual. Guess I passed my night owl gene onto Doots, much to her Daddy's dismay. Now I have someone to play with! :)
Ellie loves to read books, and she was reading her book to Zoe.
Matt won this Zoe doll at the State Fair about 4 years ago, and Ellie just loves it! It's almost as big as she is. The other day, Matt and Ellie came to my work to bring me lunch (awesome, I know) and Ellie had to bring Zoe with. It was pretty cute!
Walter the Farting Dog. He could live at our house, no problem. :)
